Arnon Tawong

Clinical AI Specialist & AI Practitioner

I take hospital LLM systems from prototype to production: fully on-premises, built under Thailand's PDPA, and designed for clinicians to actually use.

Engineer first, now working inside the hospital.

Most hospitals that want AI hit the same wall. Patient data cannot leave the premises, cloud APIs fail compliance review, and promising pilots stall in governance. My work is building systems that get past that wall in production.

I spent more than ten years delivering enterprise software across healthcare, fintech and e-commerce in APAC, moving from front-end engineering into technical leadership. I ran a scrum-of-scrums for a business unit, led distributed teams of up to 30 people, and owned technical roadmaps end to end.

Since September 2025 I have worked at Chulalongkorn's Faculty of Medicine. There I architect on-premises LLM infrastructure, fine-tune open-weight models for Thai medical terminology, and build RAG and multi-agent pipelines under PDPA and clinical-governance constraints. Alongside that I am completing graduate study in digital and AI technologies for health systems, so I can work comfortably with engineers, clinical review boards and compliance committees.

From the web, to fintech, to the hospital.
